Nuestro Bancha japonés de calidad es de Tuzuki-gun, Ujitawara en la prefectura de Kioto. Bancha es uno de los favoritos del té verde japonés. Se cosecha después de la primera recolección en primavera para el Sencha. Esta segunda cosecha comienza en junio e incluye los tallos superiores y las hojas más grandes que generalmente se dejan fuera de la producción de Sencha. Bancha produce una taza suave de té verde que es menos fragante y un poco más astringente que el Sencha más joven. Su sabor es delicado, ligero y limpio. Bancha es maravillosamente refrescante y conocido en Japón como un limpiador del paladar después de las comidas. Este té libera un aroma vegetal excepcionalmente verde y un licor de té verde amarillo que alegraría incluso los días más tristes.

[EN] One of the nicest banchas I've ever tried. As another reviewer pointed out, it almost tastes like a sencha in terms of how creamy and mellow it is. Very little bitterness or astringency (I only brew for one minute, however) and very easy to drink. The caffeine content listed on the site seems to be pretty accurate, as compared to other green teas I've had, this one has much less of a stimulating effect. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone looking for a low-caffeine green tea without compromising on flavour.

[EN] Wonderful marine flavours. Almost as lively as a sencha. A calm, smooth drink. Clean and slightly creamy. Scent of linden blossoms.
Such a nice morning tea.
I brew cool and long in a kyusu at 66°C for over 3 minutes to bring out the slight astringency that I favour.

[EN] nice bancha for a nice price, originally had a little bit of a packaging scent however after airing the tea out briefly it dissipated. simple, vegetal infusion with not too much sweetness. lived up to my expectations and no flaws that I have found. no complexity but that's to be expected with this tea.
