I purchased this tea as one of several to try in my 1st order. It is a very good quality oolong that holds up to multiple infusions. Each infusion changes a bit in taste, but all have been delicious. I will be placing another order soon and this will definitely be included.

There were some reviews recently about the Oolong smelling and tasting bad. Currently it tastes great! I fell in love with this tea like 15 years ago and I still love a good brew. Tradition you should pour a little hot water over leaves to “rise” then make your batch. I have used mine for 3 pours tasting amazing in all the last pour not as fragrant. Very calming tea to me. Remember everyone has different taste buds so just try it out. Happy sipping.
Amazing! This tea has a lovely sweet, pleasant aroma and taste. I love it. A little
goes a long way as the tea leaves are large. It is like a beautiful sunny day!
Its light, floral & sweet. It smells like a flower garden which is so relaxing. The best Tie Guan Yin ive had yet.
Good taste. I feel spring is in my cup. The tea is fresh, mild and sweet. It is different from An Xi Tie Guan Yin. Personally I like this one more as it does not hurt my stomach.
The best tasting Iron Goddess I have bought so far. Tastes fresh, light and fragrant even after several brew - the tea leaves are whole and green. It does not taste dry like other Iron Goddess teas. Once brewed the tea is almost colourless but the aroma and flavour is there, it's definitely a calming tea.
A favourite tea, which I drink on a daily basis. It has a pleasant, sweet taste. It has a mellow, distinct flavour.
This oolong has always been my favorite. Or really... once I discovered it, I can't find myself to try any others because I love it so much. I was half expecting this batch to get bitter after steeping too long or somehow a lower quality just bc of the price but I was very much surprised. Its wonderfully delicious and I'm glad I got the biggest bag I could buy.

Pleasant flavor, very aromatic fresh, good quality!
I already had some of the Ti Kuan Yin from Davids tea as there is a store nearby. I enjoyed the tea so much I decided to order some from Tealyra as well. And the quality of the tea from Tealyra is unmatched. The deep forrest green colour of the leaves and great floral taste and clean finish of the Ti Kuan Yin can't be beat. I think this is one of the best teas for the price. Enjoy
I love Oolong tea and Iron Goddess of Mercy is excellent....I will buy it again...I stopped drinking coffee. I drink it 3 times a day and I am sleeping better.
This Oolong tea has a light straw golden palish green infusion/liquor with a very smooth body and sweet finish, coupled with a light floral fragrance.
The small tightly rolled leaves are deceptive looking, so make sure your brewing vessel is big enough to accomodate the unfurled/expanded bulk of LARGE tea leaves to have enough volume to infuse properly.
I highly recommend this excellent smooth & sweet bodied Oolong tea! :D
Incredible tea. It takes honey or agave well. It's like a warm hug from the inside
I love dark and green oolongs very much. This green oolong is more greener/grassy then other green oologs, that I have tried. For me this is just ok, but the quality is perfect for a fan of Ti-Kuan-Yin.
You get what you pay for. The aroma is rather weak compared to a higher quality Tie Guan Yin, and tends to get bitter before the flavor is strong enough. It's a fine daily drinker, but you can get better for the price.

I've had this tea before and was very impressed. But the latest package I have received is not as good. Very musty smelling, like old wooden boxes. Taste is rather bland as well.
The taste is still bordering on the authentic though and the price isn't outrageous.

Very disappointing, tie guan yin is suppose to be bursting with aromas and floral notes, this one smelled like it was old, it’s lost a lot of its aromas and just smells like old seaweed that’s been on the beaches with dead fish for a while. The taste is also almost none existent. Don’t recommend this tea.

Was excited to try this out, but there is barely any flavour. A very weak and watery tea.

This tea is "OK" -- flavor is good, but there is little to no depth of flavor, meaning it is weak. A normal Tie Guan Yin (good quality in China) can be quick washed in hot water (fill pot, stir, pour out immediately), then steeped once, twice, usually thrice. Usually full flavor doesn't "blossom" until 2nd steep; 3rd steep still has good flavor, but weaker than 2nd.
This tea loses its flavor completely after the first steep (and you can't do the initial "wash" or already too weak).
So, taste "OK" - for what there is of it.

It looks good..that’s it: no taste, no flavour- nothing but colour! Tried water of various hardness, no difference. Shame I bought 200g of this, goes to bin
