It is only about 30% oxidized and fired just once, preserving the fresh, delicate character that makes first-flush Darjeeling so sought after. This famous luxury tea is light, bright and incredibly refreshing. It's delicate yet full of the prized muscatel grape notes Darjeeling is known for, finishing with a clean, floral and crisp character. The estate itself carries a touching story: Margaret's Hope Tea Estate was named in honor of the estate owner's daughter, who adored the beautiful gardens but sadly died at a young age. A little steeping tipUse freshly boiled water and keep an eye on the clock: steeping past the suggested time brings out a drier, more astringent cup.
